LOUISVILLE, KY—Better Schools Kentucky, a permanent committee of the Jefferson County Teachers Association (JCTA), recently endorsed Dr. Chris Kolb, Vice-Chair of the JCPS Board of Education, in his reelection bid.
JCTA represents over 6,000 certified personnel employees of the Jefferson County Public Schools, including teachers, librarians, speech clinicians, physical therapists and occupational therapists in every one of the public schools throughout Jefferson County. These are the people who educate and care for Louisville’s children in all of Louisville’s public schools and they have endorsed Chris Kolb.
Kolb is the District 2 representative on the Board of Education and has provided strong leadership and results during his first term on the school board. He helped obtain more classroom resources for high-need students, pushed to adopt a Racial Equity Plan and brought in one of the best superintendents in the country.
